Stoke d'Abernon Village Hall is a great local facility and the perfect venue for a whole host of activities and special events
The Village Hall building houses a large, centrally heated, main hall area. It is well lit and airy, and with a hardwood floor and removable chairs and tables the hall can be set up flexibly to cater for a variety of uses. For example, it is perfectly suited to: dance classes, exercise and keep fit sessions, small to medium size public or private meetings, family parties or functions, etc. The main hall can accomodate up to 100 people, or 80 seated at tables for meals, and may be hired by the hour, during day and evening time any day of the week, including weekends. Further enhancing the main hall is a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, which has a large, central, preparation area and a full range of equipment and facilities, including refrigeration, cookers and even a commercial grade dishwasher. The kitchen is directly accessible from the main hall via a large, screenable, serving hatch and counter top. If required, the kitchen can be hired along with the main hall.
Opposite the kitchen are the modern, well appointed, male and female washrooms and toilets, and towards the back of the Village Hall building you will find the Elmbridge Room, a bright and cosy meeting place suitable for groups of up to 20 people. The Elmbridge Room is also available to hire throughout the day and during evening hours. The Elmbridge Room has doors opening onto the Village Hall Garden - an attractive and well maintained outdoor space laid to grass and bordered by mature shrubs, herbacious plantings and flowerbeds.
