Some facts about the Residents' Association

The Association was founded nearly seventy years ago in 1946 to serve the village of Stoke d'Abernon and its immediate neighbourhood - a community of over 500 households.

We aim to promote and act upon the interests of all residents by:

Providing information principally by means of meetings, seasonal newsletters and the website.

Monitoring planning applications and making representations where appropriate.

Taking steps to improve the environment and the community by planting trees and bulbs, organising occasional social events, and introducing local initiatives.

Trying to make Stoke d'Abernon a safe and pleasant village in which to live by liaising with the local and county councils, the local police and neighbouring residents groups.
